About WRJ Southeast DistrictThe WRJ Southeast District is one of 7 districts of the WRJ. It is composed of 43 affiliate sisterhoods comprising approximately 5000 women in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. The purpose of the WRJ SE District is to be a communicating link between the local sisterhoods and the WRJ office in New York. We interpret, implement, and intensify the programs and projects of the WRJ. The Executive Committee of the WRJ Southeast District is composed of a President, 1st Vice President, VP of Development, VP of Marketing and Communications, Treasurer, 2 State Vice Presidents, 2 Senior Area Directors, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Chaplain and Parliamentarian. The Board is composed of the Executive Committee, the District Chairs, and all the Area Directors. In addition, the President's Forum, presidents of local sisterhoods, and all WRJ Board members from the WRJ Southeast District are members of the SE District Board. The SE District holds in-person District meetings and a Convention during cycling a three year period. Board meetings and The Executive Committee meet once a year in person to conduct business and meets bimonthly via video conference calling. At the meetings, delegates have the opportunity to meet other women with similar goals, to receive inspiration and information from leaders in the District. Attendees learn new techniques, can share program ideas and can offer suggestions for the betterment of our District and WRJ. |
